Complaints about eligibility

If you have a complaint about an individual’s legal aid eligibility, please see Complaints about clients.

If your legal aid application was refused and you’d like to make a complaint about your eligibility decision, you may request a review within 30 days from the date of refusal.

Your request must:

  • be in writing,
  • set out your reasons for disagreeing with the decision, and
  • include copies of supporting documentation.
