Where to find a legal aid office
The Legal Services Society (LSS) provides legal aid through offices across BC (listed below). The Vancouver regional centre also houses the society's administration and senior management.
You can also get some help from government agents at Service BC centres across the province. The centres act as a mail or fax drop-off/pick-up point for the society, and can give you our legal publications and access to a computer to look up legal information on the Internet. Find a Service BC office.
If you have to call long distance to reach a legal aid office, call Enquiry BC and ask for a transfer to the office number you want (you will not have to pay for the call):
