Legal information

Our information services may be able to help you with your legal problem — even if your legal issue isn't covered by our other services:

  • Legal information outreach workers provide help in person
  • LawLINE is our telephone service
  • Our publications cover a variety of legal topics
  • For family law information, including fact sheets and self-help guides, see the Family Law in British Columbia website
  • LawLINK is a website that connects you to reliable information and the tools you need to resolve your legal problem (This website will be phased out towards the end of 2009)
  • Clicklaw is a website that provides links to legal information, education, and help for British Columbians. Its HelpMap assists you in finding people and resources in the community who can help you with legal problems.
