Order your free LSS publications

Residents of BC can order single copies of our publications for free. People who work for certain BC organizations, such as community-based groups, First Nations bands, schools, libraries, and government agencies may also order our publications for free.

Single copies

To order single copies of a publication, go to the Crown Publications website (click the LSS image). Search the list to find the publication. Click on its title to see the publication description and information.

Multiple copies or regular orders

If you want to order multiple copies of a publication or place regular orders, we suggest you apply for a free Crown Publications customer account number.

Note: To find out which publications are in stock and which are the most recent editions, check the Current Print Publications List on our Publications web page.

Find out if your organization already has an account number

To find out whether your organization already has an account number, contact Crown Publications at 1-800-663-6105 or by e-mail.

Apply for your customer account

To apply, please complete a Customer Account Application Form and e-mail or fax it to LSS at 604-682-0965. When your account is set up, we will work out a pre-approved order quantity with you.

Order using your customer number

Once you have a customer account number, go directly to the Crown Publications website home page to place your order. Enter your customer number and your postal code, and click the "Logon" button. Then click the Legal Services Society icon at the bottom right side of the page to view our complete publications list and to place your order.

Note: You can log in at any time by clicking the "Log on to customer account" link at the top left side of the screen.

Update your customer account information

Send an e-mail to Crown Publications with "Change of Mailing Address" in the subject line. Remember to include your account number along with your new contact information.
