We have a range of free services that may help you. We give priority to people with low incomes, but many services are available to all British Columbians. We offer:
- representation if you qualify (find out more) and have:
- serious family problems;
- child protection matters (Parents Legal Centres);
- criminal law issues; or
- some immigration and refugee, mental health, and prison law issues.
- advice from:
- duty counsel lawyers (find out more),
- family advice lawyers, or
- Family LawLINE.
- information services provided in person, over the phone, and online by:
- intake assistants at legal aid locations,
- community partners,
- Indigenous community legal workers in some communities,
- the Family Law in British Columbia website,
- the Aboriginal Legal Aid in BC website, and
- a legal aid navigator, if you are a legal aid client.
