Since the fall of 2009, the Legal Services Society has been working on a project to simplify the criminal, family, and CFCSA tariffs.
The objectives of the project are to reduce the cost of administering the tariff, and to increase cost certainty. In addition, it is anticipated that the project will maintain appropriate payments for services within the available budget and support the recruitment and retention of lawyers who do work on the Society’s behalf.
