LABC staff recently travelled to Kelowna and Kamloops to host four successful Connect events. These sessions consisted of lunch and dinner workshops and were attended by a variety of organizations who support our clients in the Okanagan area, our community partners, and local private bar lawyers.
The Connect events in Kelowna drew around 60 participants who joined us for lunch and engaged in robust and constructive table sessions focused on improving service delivery and discussing the recently announced family law expansion. We were joined by about 30 additional participants at our sessions in Kamloops.
We would like to thank everyone who could attend and those who provided feedback, and we look forward to hosting similar events around the province in the future.
