Contract travel authorization item

Legal Aid BC has introduced an item on the tariff item authorization form to better accommodate lawyers requesting travel authorization on their contracts.

In the past, this type of request has caused some confusion, as travel authorization includes a group of tariff items rather than one specific tariff item.

Starting immediately, if you need to request travel authorization on one of your contracts, you can now do so by selecting Travel Authorization – Contract” from the dropdown menu of the tariff item authorization form. This will allow you to better communicate the nature of your request and assist Legal Aid BC in processing it quicker for you.
