Family Law in BC website transfer

Legal Aid BC will be transferring ongoing management of the Family Law in BC website to the Justice Education Society of BC (JES) in mid-December. JES will be responsible for future website hosting and maintenance, and we expect the transfer to be seamless with no impact on either the public or our community service partners who use the website to communicate family law information.

Aside from branding, the website content will remain unchanged and accessible. It will continue to be a reliable go-to source of information on BC family law for anyone looking for education on the Family Law Act, including guidance on how to self-represent in court, and how to find in-person assistance for family law issues. The new website domain will be FamilyLawinBC.ca. The website URLs and links will be updated after the transition; no immediate action is required as short-term redirects will be in place to ensure that users can still access content after the transfer.

We are committed to keeping service providers and community partners informed throughout the transition process, and we welcome any feedback, questions, or suggestions you may have. For more information, email Alex Peel or Dave Nolette
