Join Mediate BC and the South Asian Legal Clinic of BC at the online workshop Strengthening Bonds: Culturally Responsive Mediation for South Asian Families on December 4, 2024, (10 am – 12 pm PST).
This interactive workshop is for child welfare and family law professionals who work with South Asian families. It explores the importance of culturally responsive practices that respect the unique dynamics, values, and traditions in South Asian communities. Participants will gain insight into the cultural nuances that impact family interactions, decision-making, and conflict resolution in areas such as parenting, family roles, and intergenerational expectations.
