Legal Aid BC recently introduced the Family Legal Aid Expansion hours to better support clients with family violence issues.
Please note that these hours can only be requested on contracts with a date of issue on or after April 1, 2024.
Lawyers with newly issued contracts can submit an authorization request with the required certification form once at least 25 hours of general preparation have been invoiced. For complete details please refer to Notice to Counsel #123.
