Eligible lawyers received retroactive tariff payments with a rate increase for services provided last year, and LABC will be paying a professional development payment.
As part of the Tariff Agreement, eligible lawyers have now received their retroactive tariff payments to account for the tariff rate increase for services provided from April 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022. A small number of retroactive payments are still outstanding for invoices that were on hold for review. These will be paid later this year.
LABC will also be providing eligible lawyers with a professional development payment of $150 in February. Lawyers can expect to receive an email confirming their eligibility and attest that the funds will be used for professional development. The payment will be deposited in your account later this month.
