We’ve implemented the following changes to provide you with better support services.
Merger of roles
We have amalgamated Case Management Assistants and Tariff Account Examiners into the new role of Lawyer Support Representatives (LSRs). This change helps streamline processes and, for some request types, reduce turnaround times.
Centralized helpdesk
With the merger of roles, our phone lines and emails have been consolidated. LSRs will be available to respond to your general inquiries including invoicing and authorizations. Our goal is to improve your experience by maintaining a single point of contact. You can reach your Lawyer Support team at 604-601-6155/1-888-401-6206 and lawyer.support@legalaid.bc.ca.
New On-Demand Contact Centre
We are also transitioning to an On-Demand Contact Centre for our Lawyer Support phone line, which will be akin to a call centre. This change will assist multiple LSRs to answer your calls live within LABC’s business hours and reduce wait times to connect with a representative.
