LABC staff hosted four successful Connect events in Vancouver on November 19 and Victoria on November 20 – 21. These sessions consisted of lunch and dinner workshops and were attended by a variety of organizations who support our clients in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island regions, our community partners, and local private bar lawyers.
More than 100 participants joined us in Vancouver to engage in robust and constructive table sessions focused on improving service delivery, our Family Legal Aid Expansion, which includes the recent launch of our new Family Law Centres, the Early Resolution Process, and the Legal Aid Navigator Program. We were joined by about 70 additional participants at our sessions in Victoria.
We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who attended and those who provided feedback. We look forward to hosting similar events around the province in the future.
