The BC Prosecution Service has published an information sheet called Publication Bans – Varying or Revoking on its website to provide information for victims and witnesses about section 486.51 applications. As a reminder, in many cases, counsel can be made available through LABC for complainants seeking independent legal advice on applying to vary or revoke a publication ban.
