In response to the BC government’s August 4, 2026, news release regarding the launch of the Chronic Property Offending Intervention Initiative (C-POII), BC Prosecution Service and BC Corrections have prepared an information sheet.
Defence counsel can use this information sheet to better understand the Repeat Violent Offending Intervention Initiative (ReVOII) and C-POII and how accused persons will be classified. The information sheet also lists the locations of the 24 community hubs and contact information if you have questions.
