We’ve updated our online resource Working with your legal aid lawyer. This two-page guide explains to clients what to expect from their legal aid lawyer. It includes tips for clients on how to work with their lawyer and explains what the lawyer will do, what the lawyer cannot do, and what the lawyer expects the client to do.
You can share a link to this online resource with your clients or download and print a PDF. We encourage you to use this document when discussing expectations with your legal aid clients. This resource is currently only available in English. We will be updating it in several other languages soon.
