Parents’ counsel update: Iskut Band

The Ministry of Children and Family Development advises that, effective October 6, 2025, Iskut Band has been added to the list of Indigenous Governing Bodies for the purpose of receiving notice of significant measures under section 12 of An Act respecting First Nations, Inuit and Métis children, youth and families. 

Iskut Band must receive notice prior to taking any significant measure regarding a child or youth from their band as of October 6, 2025.
