2026 legal aid financial eligibility increase: Standard Family Representation cases

Legal Aid BC has increased financial eligibility for Standard Family Representation cases, effective April 1, 2026

The Net household monthly income table has been updated to align with the most recent Market Basket Measure published by Statistics Canada, plus two percent. Please refer to the table below. All other areas of law remain unchanged.
