LABC offers bursary support in the form of reimbursement to a limited number of qualified lawyers who attended the Federation of Law Societies of Canada’s National Family Law Program (NFLP) or National Criminal Law Program (NCLP) in July 2026.
To qualify, you must be actively taking legal aid contracts with your own LABC vendor number and agree to take a minimum of six contracts in the relevant area of law, criminal or family, in the next 12 months.
To apply for this bursary, email Lawyers.Resources@legalaid.bc.ca with the following:
- your LABC vendor number
- a statement that you agree to the minimum contract requirement
- a copy of your registration invoice for the NFLP or NCLP
We will consider bursary applications received on or before October 31, 2026.
Selection of bursary recipients is at LABC’s discretion.
For more bursary opportunities, see LABC’s Bursary program.
