In early 2023, Legal Aid BC began funding Impact of Race and Culture Assessments (IRCAs). We’re pleased to advise that our funders are open to approving IRCA reports for clients who do not meet the current criteria. Specifically, clients facing less than two years jail time can now apply for an IRCA report. These reports will be approved on a case-by-case basis.
