The BC Supreme Court has published information about filing forms in French. For more details, please see this article about Filing court documents in French in BC on the Courthouse Libraries BC website. You can find French versions of the Supreme Court Family Forms on the BC government’s website.

Legal Aid BC (LABC) also recently expanded its range of French language online and print resources as part of an ongoing effort to improve access to justice for French speakers living in BC. The new French materials are available on LABC’s client resource website. The dedicated French resources web page includes translations of intimate partner violence resources, service brochures, and videos on topics such as family law and BC Provincial Court.

This expansion was made possible through the support of Francophone Affairs under the Canada-British Columbia French Language Services Agreement, a multi-year collaborative framework aimed at improving access to French language services and information throughout the province.

You’ll also find more French content to support clients, including brochures and new web pages such as How to apply for legal aid, on LABC’s corporate website.
