We’ve updated our Settlements and Judgements policy (PDF) with revisions throughout, including clarifying language around Clinic Services — legal representation services provided by LABC for the benefit of a client through in-house staff and/or resources controlled and funded directly by LABC.
In addition, please be reminded that lawyers are required to notify LABC at helpdesk.sj@legalaid.bc.ca anytime their client will get a financial award in connection with a legal aid case.
