On our home page, look under the Lawyer resources tab to find information and resources under the headings Current LABC lawyers, LABC Tariffs and policies, and Considering legal aid work?
Current LABC lawyers
Under Current LABC lawyers, you’ll find links to the Lawyer Portal, a wide variety of resources for all areas of law legal aid covers, lawyer news, and learning opportunities.
You’ll also find direct links to forms, contacts for lawyers for all your inquiries, and lawyer recruitment and retention initiatives to keep you informed about improvements we’re making.
LABC Tariffs and policies
Under LABC Tariffs and policies, you’ll continue to find the current versions of the LABC Tariffs including General Terms and Conditions, Disbursements, and all legal aid areas of law. You’ll also find Notices to Counsel and policies listed here.
Considering legal aid work?
This section is for lawyers who are not currently practising legal aid. Under Considering legal aid work?, you can locate information about how legal aid work benefits clients, you, and your community. You’ll also find links to instructions on how to apply to be a legal aid lawyer and how to reactivate your vendor number if you wish to return to legal aid work. This section also includes a link to LABC’s Lawyer Orientation Manual What You Need to Know About Legal Aid Work (PDF).
